Route 2 is proposed to be discontinued. Service to the area would be provided via the proposed routes D5, D12, L12, N64, and O9.
Key Route Information
- Route 2 would be proposed to be discontinued due to consistent low ridership.
- Connections from the North Hills to Downtown would be available on McKnight Rd via the D12, O9, and L12.
- Service on Seavey Rd would be provided by the D5; Service through Millvale would be provided by the D5, N64, and O9.
Route Highlights
- Frequency on the D12 (existing Route 12) would be increased to every 30 minutes.
- Riders along Mt Royal Blvd could connect to PRT service at McCandless/Ross Park and Rides.
- Millvale would gain new connections to Oakland and Bloomfield via the O9 and N64.
- Riders in Etna and Millvale would connect to Downtown on the D5.
