Route P7 is proposed to be discontinued. Service to the area would be provided via the proposed routes P1, X61, D56, N52, and N66.
Key Route Information
- Existing route P7 would be discontinued due to low ridership.
- All-day service between McKeesport and Downtown would be provided by the X61 via Homestead/ Oakland and by the D56 via Lincoln Place.
- An all-day connection to the East Busway would be provided by the N52.
Route Highlights
- The P1 would operate on the East Busway every 5 minutes at peak, providing frequent connections to Wilkinsburg, East Liberty, Downtown, and other destinations.
- The X61 would run every 15 minutes and connect McKeesport and Duquesne to Oakland and Downtown.
- The D56 would continue to provide daily, all-day service between McKeesport and Downtown.
