Routes 59 and P7 are proposed to become Route N66. This route would serve the connection between McKeesport and North Versailles that the 55 provides today.

Key Route Improvements
- Would provide new direct connections throughout the Northern Mon Valley to access jobs, schools, healthcare, and more.
- Would provide frequent service transfers to Swissvale Station on the East Busway and more local transfers in East Pittsburgh.
- Would improve span of service to all day 60 min service, every day of the week.
Route Highlights
- Service through Duquesne and Munhall would be provided by the D59 and N52.
- Direct service to Downtown from McKeesport would be provided on the D56 (via Lincoln Place) and the X61 (via Homestead, Oakland).
- This route would serve the connection between McKeesport and North Versailles that the 55 provides today.
- Routing reflects a streamlining of the circuitous loop around Swissvale as well as more direct connections between Braddock and North Versailles.
