Route P1 is proposed to remain Route P1. This route would have no alignment changes and would make all stops in both directions along the East Busway.

Key Route Improvements

• High frequency would allow quick and easy transfers from the rest of the PRT network.
• Would extend late night service to 2 AM every day of the week.
• Would increase weekday peak frequency to every 5 minutes between Swissvale and Downtown.

Route Highlights

• All routes operating on the East Busway would make all stops in both directions, by lifting stop restrictions. This improves frequency, connectivity and makes riding the busway easier to understand.
• The P1 would have increased frequency to every 5 min during weekday peak hours.
• No alignment changes would be proposed for the P1.
