Route 58 is proposed to become Route D58. This route would create a new, highly-requested direct connection from Swisshelm Park to Squirrel Hill.

Key Route Improvements
- Would create new connections between Edgewood Towne Center, Swisshelm Park, Squirrel Hill, and Greenfield.
- Would retain connections between Greenfield, Oakland, and Downtown, including service along Winterburn.
- Would increase weekday peak frequency to every 30 min from every 45 - 60 min.
Route Highlights
- The D58 would provide service through Schenley Park, maintaining a direct park connection in the East End. The direct connection to Phipps and CLP Main Library was highly requested and well received from the first draft of the network.
- D58 would provide service on Winterburn Ave, connecting Greenfield to Squirrel Hill, Oakland, and Downtown.
- The D58 would create a new, highly-requested direct connection from Swisshelm Park to Squirrel Hill.
