Proposed: Route D69/N69 Trafford via Ardmore Blvd, East Busway
Routes 69 & P69 are proposed to become Route D69 and N69. This route would provide faster, more reliable service between Downtown and Trafford.

Key Route Improvements
- Would retain direct weekday connections to Downtown from Trafford, Pitcairn, Wall, and Wilmerding.
- Would provide faster, more reliable service between Downtown and Trafford via the East Busway all day on weekdays.
- Would improve weekend service between Trafford and Wilkinsburg Station with convenient transfers to Oakland and Downtown.
Route Highlights
- All routes on the East Busway would serve all stops in both directions, by lifting stop restrictions.
- Frequent connections to Oakland would be available at Wilkinsburg, East Liberty, and Negley Stations.
- Service on Wilkins Ave would be provided every 20 minutes by the D70.
- Some coverage would be lost circulating Trafford and connecting to Forbes Hospital due to very low ridership.
- PRT is working with Trafford Borough to identify a layover location to ensure that service to Trafford can continue once BLR is implemented.
