Routes Y46 and Y47 are proposed to become Route D46. This route would provide access to light rail as well as to the new N34 which would offer connections across the South Hills between Brentwood and Carnegie Station.

Key Route Improvements

• Would improve frequency to every 30 min on weekdays and every 60 min on weekends.
• Would retain direct connection to Downtown from Jefferson Hills and Clairton, retains connections on Brownsville Rd.
• Would retain early morning and evening weekday span and weekend spans.

Route Highlights

• In Overbrook, the D46 would provide access to light rail as well as to the new N34 which would offer connections across the South Hills between Brentwood and Carnegie Station.
• Service on Clairton Blvd/SR-51 would be provided by the D51 every 20 minutes.
• Alignment would be identical to existing route Y46 from Pleasant Hills to Clairton.
• The new D46 alignment would better serve equity priority areas where there is higher transit dependence.
