Route 29 is proposed to become Route D29 and D29S. This route would would retain weekday connection to CCAC West from Downtown and municipalities west of Pittsburgh.

Key Route Improvement
- Would improve frequency to Robinson (Weekdays: 50 to 30 min; Saturdays: 50 to 30 min; Sundays: 70 to 40 min).
- Would increase service span on weekdays (6 AM - 1 AM) and weekends (Saturdays: 5:30 AM - 1 AM; Sundays: 6 AM - 11 PM).
- Would retain weekday connection to CCAC West from Downtown and municipalities west of Pittsburgh.
Route Highlights
- Service would be every 60 minutes between CCAC West and Downtown, and every 30 minutes between Robinson and Downtown.
- Service to CCAC West would be weekday only and run every 60 min.
- Crafton Station on the West Busway would allow for a transfer to the X28 which connects to the Pittsburgh International Airport.
