The proposed route D5 would provide service from Harmar to Downtown via Millvale, Etna, and Sharpsburg.

Summary of Changes

Would provide a connection to Route N1 in Harmar to the upper Allegheny Valley, including Oakmont, New Kensington, Tarentum, and Natrona Heights.
Local service would be provided through Millvale instead of Route 28.
Would link several neighborhood business districts from East Allegheny, Millvale, Etna, Sharpsburg, Aspinwall, Blawnox.
Proposed Route D5 would maintain service along Freeport Road from Harmar to Downtown. Connections farther north would be via Route N1.
Saturday service frequencies would be improved to 40 minutes.
Would improve schedule reliability with modified bus speeds.
