Route G2 is proposed to become the Green Line (GR) with the only change to its current alignment in Downtown. The Green Line will share the PRTX loop (Liberty Ave, Sixth Ave, Fifth Ave) with the Purple Line and X50, X60, X61, X80, and X90.

Connections to/from Pittsburgh International Airport via Route X20 would be possible from any Green Line Station.

Summary of Proposed Changes

Later evening service would be offered, until 1:00 AM on weekdays and Saturdays, and until midnight on Sundays.
New connections and transfers would be available at Carnegie and Sheraden Stations.
All West Busway routes (Green Line, X20, and D25) are proposed to serve all stops in both directions, which would increase overall service frequency and make riding the Busway easier to understand.
