Corridor projects improve infrastructure and service on routes served by light rail, busways, or multiple on-street routes. These projects can also establish new corridors that do not currently exist to better connect our region.

Homestead to McKeesport Transit Improvements
This project includes transit upgrades between Homestead and McKeesport on the 61C corridor, running mostly along State Route 837, and serving four other bus routes along the course.

East/Central Pittsburgh River to River Connection
This project is a feasibility study for a new transit corridor that would connect Pittsburgh’s Strip District, Hill District, Oakland, Hazelwood, Carrick, and Overbrook neighborhoods.

Extending the MLK Jr. East Busway
This project will develop a plan for extending PRT's MLK Jr. East Busway from its current endpoint at Roslyn Station in Swissvale eastward through Rankin, Braddock, and East Pittsburgh.
