Route N79 would retain connection to East Liberty for Garfield residents and would expand access to other Eastern communities as well.
Would connect to East Busway at East Liberty and Wilkinsburg Stations for fast and frequent access to Downtown and Oakland.
Service on Chasker St and Aber Rd would be rerouted due to low ridership and to make route more direct through challenging topography.
Route N79 would serve Penn Ave in Wilkinsburg in both directions.
Would create new connection to Bloomfield from Garfield and the East Hills
Service through Garfield would be more frequent
Route would be made more direct through East Hills to improve on-time performance.
